When a special-vehicle maker and a drone major shake hands, the product is neither a truck nor a drone — it is a new category: a mobile command layer for the low-altitude economy.
Puzhou brings folding airframes, binocular obstacle avoidance and long-endurance flight controls; Zhongke Intelligent brings what almost nobody else has at scale — purpose-engineered vehicle platforms that carry, launch, recover and command those drones in the field. The stated goal: one seamless vehicle + AI + aircraft chain that removes the single-equipment limits emergency crews hit every day.
The partnership builds on hardware already shipping. CLW’s drone-vehicle trilogy — the mobile operation platform, the laser countermeasure truck (unit value around RMB 7 million) and the forward communication-command truck (around RMB 5 million) — is in serial production and, per the company, out-selling internal forecasts at home and abroad.
Three tracks lie ahead: integrating Puzhou’s infrared payloads with onboard vehicle control into true vehicle-aircraft units; fielding rapid-deployment packages for emergency rescue, power-line patrol and logistics delivery; and pooling manufacturing to standardise components and pull costs down.
The roadmap is dated: first emergency-equipment and drone adaptation batches certified before end-2026 with standardised vehicle-mounted hangar quick-launch configurations; three to five flagship scenarios across central China within three years.
