Golden Dragon 9 m Coach Chassis

The vehicle is built on a Golden Dragon 9 m coach chassis with a rear-mounted six-cylinder turbo diesel engine rated at approximately 150-180 kW (200-245 hp) and a six-speed manual gearbox. Air brakes, ABS, airbag or leaf-spring suspension and power steering are standard, giving a stable platform for sensitive DR equipment on rural roads.

Gross vehicle weight is 11,600 kg, with an overall length of approximately 8,990-9,000 mm, a width of 2,500 mm and a height of 3,500-3,700 mm including roof air conditioners. The body is a monocoque coach structure insulated with polyurethane foam, finished in white medical livery. Left-hand drive is standard; right-hand drive is available on request.

Reception, Waiting and Examination Room

Passengers board through the front right door into a reception area with a registration desk, document shelf and two to four waiting seats. A partition and curtain separate the public area from the clinical zone, and a stainless handrail runs along the aisle for elderly patients.

The examination room has a padded examination couch, a doctor stool, a wall-mounted desk, privacy curtain, ultrasound probe outlets, ECG lead points and a small sink. Storage cabinets hold consumables, and a 220 V outlet column serves ultrasound, ECG and vital-signs monitors. Blue LED cove lighting and a white ceiling panel give even, glare-free illumination.

Lead-Shielded DR Room and Radiation Safety

The DR room is a separate compartment with 2-3 mmPb lead equivalent shielding in the walls, floor, ceiling, window and door. A lead-glass observation window lets the technologist see the patient, and the sliding lead door has a safety interlock that prevents exposure while it is open. A red warning lamp and the radiation sign are mounted above the door.

Inside, a 17 x 17 in flat-panel detector is combined with a chest stand, a tube arm and a portable detector for table work. The generator and collimator are matched to the panel, and the DICOM workstation transmits images to the hospital PACS over 4G or Wi-Fi. Lead aprons, thyroid shields and a dosimeter are supplied for staff protection.

Power, HVAC, Water and Field Deployment

A 10-15 kVA diesel generator in a sound-insulated compartment supplies 220/380 V for the DR, air conditioning, lighting and equipment, while a 3-5 kVA UPS keeps the DR and workstation alive during changeover. Shore power can be connected at hospitals and clinics, and an isolation transformer and earth bar protect sensitive electronics.

Two roof-mounted air conditioners of 8-10 kW each maintain 22-26 degrees Celsius, with fresh-air vents and an exhaust fan for the DR room. A 100-200 L clean-water tank, 50-100 L waste tank, sink and water heater support sample collection and hand hygiene. The bus carries a fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, wheel chocks and a rear access ladder; delivery is 30-45 days after deposit, one unit minimum.
