Fast-road sweeping contracts get this Dongfeng 4x2 sweeper (street sweeper), whose Cummins engine produces 140 kW, 190 HP from 4500 ml on a 5300 mm wheelbase, 18,000 kg gross with 4070 kg payload, in a 9100x2500x3500 mm footprint. The machine reports a cleaning rate above 97% at 60 km/h working speed with operation noise below 88 dBA, using mechanical collection from four enlarged central steel-wire disc brushes plus dual side brooms and central suction across a 2.4-3.5 m sweep width. Three widened 220 mm dust ports feed an 8 m3 debris hopper with stainless wear lining; the hopper lifts and self-cleans on internal high-pressure water, dumping past a 50-degree angle for thorough discharge. A spray-suppression water tank with flush and kerb-jet nozzles holds dust down, and a high-flow fan with filter shaker captures fines. Hydraulic gear pumps take power on demand through engine PTO with an auxiliary diesel for full-sweep duty; one-button presets, an auxiliary panel, and remote control run operation. Modular disc, roller, and conveyor units simplify service, and highway and expressway maintenance rounds define the application.
