The JMC Transit high-roof ambulance is a 3,550 kg GVW emergency vehicle built on the proven JX4D20A6H 2.0 L turbo diesel platform, delivering 107 kW (145 hp) through a six-speed manual gearbox. Its 3,360 mm wheelbase and 5,495 x 1,974 x 2,620 mm body give a medical cabin large enough for an automatic loading stretcher, a three-seat attendant bench, oxygen and drug cabinets and a monitoring workstation without exceeding normal city clearance. The cabin uses antibacterial, rounded-edge panelling, a slip-resistant drained floor, independent front and rear air conditioning, a 500 W or 1,000 W sine-wave inverter, UV disinfection and LED treatment lighting. A 100 W siren, long-row LED light bar and blue blinkers complete the emergency package. Transport and ICU layouts, left- or right-hand drive, negative-pressure filtration and 2 x 15 L oxygen banks are available. One unit minimum, 20-35 day lead time.
The JMC Transit high-roof ambulance pairs a proven diesel chassis with a complete medical cell, engineered for fast urban transfers and for advanced life support duty.

145 hp 2.0 L turbo diesel | 3,550 kg gross vehicle weight | 3,360 mm wheelbase | 6-8 seats incl. crew |
The unit is based on the JMC Transit high-roof van, a chassis with wide service coverage across Africa, South America and Southeast Asia. The JX4D20A6H 2.0 L turbocharged diesel produces 107 kW (145 hp) and a broad torque band between roughly 1,500 and 2,500 rpm, so the vehicle pulls cleanly in stop-and-go traffic and cruises economically on long transfers.
A six-speed manual gearbox, 3,360 mm wheelbase, front disc brakes and ABS with EBD keep the 2,490 kg kerb weight predictable up to the 160 km/h top speed. The 6.5 m turning circle and 5,495 mm overall length allow easy manoeuvring in hospital forecourts and narrow streets. Gross vehicle weight is 3,550 kg, leaving about 1,000 kg for crew, patient, equipment and oxygen.

The 2,620 mm-high roof lets attendants work standing or seated without stooping. Behind the full-height partition with sliding access window sit an automatic loading stretcher, a folding attendant seat, a three-person bench and the monitored patient area. Wall panels are antibacterial, seamless and rounded at the edges; the floor is slip-resistant and drained so disinfectant runs out instead of pooling.
Storage follows the treatment path: an oxygen cabinet for two 10 L cylinders (two 15 L optional) with twin wall outlets, a lockable drug cabinet, an equipment rack for monitor, defibrillator and suction unit, IV hangers and a sharps bin. A 500 W sine-wave inverter is standard on transport units; monitoring units receive 1,000 W, four LED ceiling lights, two IV spotlights and a rear work light.

| Lighting | 2-4 LED ceiling, 2 IV spotlights | |
| Disinfection | UV lamp | |
| Electrical | 220 V sockets, external shore-power inlet | |

Power is split between the chassis circuit and a dedicated medical circuit with its own fuse panel and battery isolator, so life-support equipment keeps running with the engine off. The inverter delivers clean sine-wave 220 V for monitors, syringe pumps and laptops; an external 220 V inlet allows shore power at the hospital.
Infection control includes a UV disinfection lamp, washable upholstery, a sealed waste compartment and an exhaust fan. Front and rear air-conditioning zones are independent, keeping the driver cab comfortable while the cabin stays at treatment temperature. Oxygen lines use medical-grade hose with accessible shut-off valves.

A 100 W siren with handset, long-row LED light bar, four to six blue blinkers, reverse camera and interior monitor make the vehicle visible in dense traffic. The exterior carries ambulance markings, a rear chevron panel and reflective contour tape; national livery can be applied to the buyer's artwork.
Buyers choose transport or ICU monitoring specification, left- or right-hand drive, negative-pressure filtration with HEPA exhaust, 2 x 15 L oxygen, a powered stretcher loader, extra seating or a paediatric incubator mount. Every unit ships with a tool kit, spare lamps and fuses, service manual and full export documents. Production takes 20-35 days after confirmation; one unit is the minimum order.

Can the ambulance be supplied in right-hand drive?
Yes. The JMC Transit platform is available in left- and right-hand drive. Specify the destination market when ordering so steering, lighting and door layout match local registration rules.
What is the difference between transport and ICU monitoring trim?
Transport trim covers the stretcher, oxygen, suction, basic lighting and a 500 W inverter. ICU trim adds a 1,000 W inverter, four ceiling lights, two IV spotlights, a rear work light, a monitor bracket and extra storage for a defibrillator and infusion pumps.
How long is delivery and how is the vehicle shipped?
Production takes 20-35 days after deposit. Units ship by Ro-Ro or in a 40HQ container with wheels removed when the route requires it; we provide the loading plan, pre-shipment photos and full customs documents.
