A standard diesel-fired thermal oil boiler holds bitumen at 120 to 180 C without scorching, while PLC smart control governs spray rates from 0.5 to 3 L/m2 within the gear or hydraulic pump stepless range of 0 to 5 L/m2. Rear dual spray bars adjust from 2.5 to 6 m width with automatic nozzle shut-off per header; a bitumen stirrer and recirculation loop keep temperature even and prevent segregation. Filling runs top through a strainer manhole or side pump-in from a drum or plant line, and an onboard diesel compressor supplies nozzle purge and atomizing air.
