Municipal resurfacing at street scale defines this FAW 4X2 bitumen distributor: a 6 m3 tank delivering a working spray width around 4 m, sized to tack-coat a lane before chip spreaders follow. Insulation puts 50 mm rock-wool with stainless cladding over carbon steel, heated by a diesel-fired thermal oil boiler through a serpentine circuit that holds bitumen at 120-180 C; stirring and recirculation keep temperature even with no segregation between nozzles. Metering runs stepless 0-5 L/m2 from a gear or hydraulic pump through rear dual spray bars adjustable from 2.5 m to 6 m with automatic per-header shut-off, governed by manual valves, a flow meter and speed-linked pump drive. An onboard diesel compressor supplies nozzle purge and atomizing air; the strainer manhole takes top fill, and the side connection pumps in from drum or plant line.
