County road programs get prime coats and chip seal from an 8 cbm SHACMAN L3000 4X2 asphalt distributor, a FAST eight-speed diesel of 210 HP and 5,100 ml on a 4,700 mm wheelbase. Its working tank is 6 m3 of carbon steel wrapped in 50 mm rock wool with stainless cladding and a serpentine heating circuit; the standard diesel-fired thermal oil boiler keeps bitumen between 120 and 180 C without scorching. Spraying is quoted at a 4.5 m width through rear dual bars adjustable from 2.5 to 6 m with per-header nozzle shut-off, dosed up to 5 L/m2 by a stepless gear or hydraulic pump. A stirrer and recirculation hold temperature evenly, an onboard diesel compressor covers purge and atomizing air, and top-fill via strainer manhole or side pump-in from a drum or plant line fill the tank. Speed-linked valve control with a flow meter ties dosage to travel. Infrared heating, a GPS dosing map or a front sprayer extend the palette.
