CLW Chengli Special Automobile · Suizhou, China
CLW builds rear-loader compacting garbage trucks and refuse collection vehicles in 5, 8, 10 and 12 cubic meter body volumes on ISUZU, DONGFENG, FOTON and SINOTRUK chassis. Each compactor uses a high-strength wear-resistant steel hopper with hydraulic crushing panel, 6-8 tonne packing force and sealed garbage box to prevent leachate spillage on city routes. Side loaders, skip loaders and hooklift bodies complete the municipal range.
Size the body from your route - households per shift times average bin volume. A rear loader with 8 m3 compacting body typically serves 250-400 households per shift; choose 5 m3 on a light 4x2 chassis for narrow streets and 10-12 m3 for long trunk routes.
Yes - specify the side lifter attachment or a bucket-lift mechanism; the standard rear hopper accepts 660-1100 L containers with the crushing panel pre-compression cycle.
Price depends on body volume, compactor type, bin-lifting equipment, chassis and export packing. A 5 m3 rear loader on a light 4x2 is the entry tier; a 12-16 m3 6x4 compactor with side lifter is the heavy tier. Send your route, households per shift and bin type for a quote.
MOQ is one unit. Standard rear loaders ship in 20-35 working days after drawing approval and deposit; stainless or multi-function bodies take 30-45 working days. Factory compaction and bin-lift tests are recorded before shipment.
A rear loader is the general choice for kerbside bags and bins; a side loader speeds wheelie-bin routes; a front loader handles large commercial containers; a hooklift or skip loader swaps open bodies for construction and bulky waste.
Yes. Food waste, market waste and high-moisture routes can use a stainless steel liner or full stainless body with sealed leachate tank. Carbon steel with epoxy paint remains the lower-cost option for general household waste.
Two-year whole-vehicle warranty, lifelong genuine spare parts and operator training material. Export documents include certificate of origin, invoice, packing list, bill of lading, ISO and MIIT certification.
Payload is set by chassis GVW minus body and hopper weight, not by body volume alone. A loaded compactor is heavy, so tell us the chassis class and the axle limits in your country; CLW returns the body weight, payload and axle-load calculation before deposit.
A rear loader with a bin-lift handles household bins and bags; commercial containers of 1-10 m3 need a front loader or a hooklift body. If your route mixes both, a compactor plus hooklift fleet is usually more productive than one compromise body.
The compactor box is sealed and drains into a dedicated leachate tank with a bottom valve. For wet food or market waste, specify a stainless liner and a larger leachate tank, and discharge at the treatment point rather than on the route.
CLW is a Chinese garbage truck manufacturer and exporter with its own compactor body line. We supply rear loaders, side loaders, skip loaders and hooklift trucks from 5 to 16 m3 on ISUZU, DONGFENG, FOTON and SINOTRUK chassis, with export homologation, spare parts and operator training. Send the route and bin type for a line-item quote.
The main types of garbage trucks are rear-loader compactors, side loaders, skip loaders, hooklift or roll-off trucks, kitchen-waste trucks and electric sanitation tricycles. Rear loaders suit household routes, side loaders suit wheeled bins on narrow streets, and hooklift bodies suit construction and bulky waste.
A 4x2 city compactor has 6 wheels, a 6x4 heavy compactor has 10, and a light 5 m3 unit can use 4. A 5 m3 rear loader carries about 3-4 tonnes of household waste, an 8 m3 body 5-7 tonnes and a 12 m3 compactor 8-12 tonnes after packing, because compaction reduces the volume by 2-3 times.
Yes. Back loader garbage truck, rear loader and rear end loader truck describe the same layout: the loading hopper and packing blade sit at the rear, the crew loads bins by hand or with a bin lifter, and a sliding panel pushes the waste into the sealed body. Most of our 5-12 m3 municipal compactors are rear loaders; a side loader is the alternative for wheeled-bin routes.
Yes. We mount rear loader, side loader and hooklift bodies on ISUZU ELF, 100P, 600P, 700P, NPR, KV100, KV600, FTR, FVR and GIGA chassis, usually 4x2 for city routes and 6x4 for 12 m3 bodies. Confirm the body volume and route first, then we check the PTO, axle load and body mounting for that ISUZU model.
A garbage truck is specified by collection method first and chassis second. CLW builds the four bodies that cover municipal routes: rear-loader compactors for kerbside bags and wheelie bins, side loaders for one-man bin routes, front loaders for large commercial containers, and hooklift or skip loaders that swap open bodies for construction and bulky waste. Body volumes run from 5 m3 on a light 4x2 for old-town streets to 12-16 m3 on a 6x4 for trunk collection.
The body decides crew size and cycle time, so choose it before comparing chassis prices. A rear loader needs two or three loaders; a side loader usually needs one driver.
Six inputs are enough to size a compactor body and return a line-item quotation:
Send these with the destination port and CLW confirms body drawing, compaction force, bin-lift model and chassis axle load before deposit. Do not size the truck from the largest container you might buy later; size it from the route you run every day.
The bands below are factory-direct FOB China for standard specifications. They are a budget framework, not a quotation; chassis brand, body steel, bin-lift type, right-hand drive and freight move the final number.
Compare quotations on the same line items: body steel and thickness, compaction force, hydraulic pump and valve brand, bin-lift rating, leachate tank volume, paint system and export packing. A low price usually means a thinner body plate or a smaller hydraulic package, and both show up as downtime in the first year.
CLW builds to MIIT catalog requirements in an ISO-certified factory. Export files include certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and inspection or test records on request. Compactor bodies are tested for pack, eject and bin-lift cycles before shipment, and the test video is sent with the shipping documents.
Lead time is typically 20-35 working days for a standard rear loader after drawing approval and deposit, and 30-45 working days for stainless, side-loader or multi-function bodies. Small 4x2 units can ship in a 40FT container or on a flat rack; 6x4 and 8x4 units normally move by RoRo. Lifting points, blocking instructions and loading photos are supplied before departure, and right-hand-drive or local homologation packages are prepared where the market allows them.
Compactor maintenance is mostly hydraulic and structural. Check the packing panel, ejector ram and bin-lift cylinders for leakage, inspect the body plate and wear strips at the loading sill, and keep the rear door seal clean so leachate stays inside. The hydraulic oil, filter and pressure should be checked against the schedule rather than after a slow cycle appears.
For daily operation, never enter the hopper without the safety lock engaged, keep the emergency stop reachable from the loading position, and wash the body at the end of the shift, draining the leachate tank at the designated point. Annual inspection should cover weld condition, body plate thickness, hydraulic hose condition and the bin-lift interlock. CLW supplies seal kits, wear plates, hydraulic filters and the original body drawing with every truck.
