The HOWO 6x4 20,000 L diesel fuel tank truck is a heavy-duty distribution and mobile refuelling vehicle for fuel stations, fleets, mines and construction sites. The carbon-steel tank is divided into two compartments with anti-surge baffles, two top manholes and an emergency bottom valve, and carries UN 1202 Class 3 placards for diesel. A self-priming pump and a mechanical flow meter in the lockable side cabinet allow loading from a depot or tanker and dispensing into storage tanks, generators and machinery. The HOWO 6x4 chassis uses a turbocharged diesel engine of 371 hp, a nine- or ten-speed manual gearbox, leaf-spring suspension and 12.00R20 tyres. Gross vehicle weight is 25,000-31,000 kg and the fuel payload is about 16,800 kg. The cab seats two or three, with power steering and optional air conditioning. Each unit ships with hose, nozzle, camlock fittings, grounding cable, manual, export documents and a 30-45 day lead time. Left-hand drive is standard and right-hand drive is optional.

★ A 20,000 L HOWO 6x4 diesel tanker with two-compartment steel tank, self-priming pump, flow meter and UN 1202 placards for depot and mobile refuelling.
▶ The elliptical tank is built from 5-6 mm carbon steel with dished ends, anti-surge baffles and two top manholes. Two compartments let the operator carry one fuel grade in separate sections and reduce load movement on the road. The shell is pressure-tested and painted with a fuel-resistant finish.
Filling is normally through the top manholes, with an optional bottom-loading connection. A mechanical level gauge and an emergency bottom valve are fitted, and the tank carries UN 1202 Class 3 placards, a flammable-liquid diamond and no-smoking, no-phone and no-flame symbols.

▶ A self-priming pump mounted in the lockable side cabinet draws fuel through a 2.5- or 3-inch camlock inlet and delivers it through a mechanical flow meter to the outlet. The meter shows delivered litres on a resettable counter, so the operator can log each transfer without a separate measuring tank.
A 10-20 m dispensing hose with a standard fuel nozzle reaches storage tanks and machinery. The cabinet also holds the valves, strainer and grounding cable. Pump flow is about 500-800 L/min, enough to empty a full compartment in around 15-25 minutes.

▶ The HOWO 6x4 chassis uses a turbocharged diesel engine rated at 371 hp, a nine- or ten-speed manual gearbox and a double-reduction drive axle. Leaf-spring suspension, a reinforced frame and 12.00R20 tyres carry the 20,000 L load over highway and site roads.
Gross vehicle weight is 25,000-31,000 kg, with a fuel payload of about 16,800 kg. The cab seats two or three, with power steering, a car-style dash and optional air conditioning. Reverse cameras and side guards are recommended for depot work.

▶ Typical duties include supplying service stations, refuelling excavators, generators and truck fleets, and moving diesel between depots. The two-compartment tank and mechanical meter suit operators who need a simple, repairable system without electronic controls.
Options include a hose reel, a second meter, bottom loading, vapour recovery, an aluminium alloy tank, a fire-extinguisher kit and additional grounding points. Left-hand drive is standard and right-hand drive is optional. Each unit ships with hose, nozzle, camlock fittings, grounding cable, manual, export documents and a 30-45 day lead time.
How many compartments does the tank have?
The standard build has two compartments with anti-surge baffles and two top manholes, so one fuel grade can be carried in separate sections. A single-compartment or three-compartment layout can be specified for a particular depot.
How is the fuel measured?
A mechanical flow meter in the side cabinet shows delivered litres on a resettable counter. The pump draws through a camlock inlet and strainer and delivers through the meter to a 10-20 m hose, so each transfer can be logged without a separate measuring tank.
What safety equipment is fitted?
The tank has an emergency bottom valve, top vents, mechanical level gauge and static bonding to the chassis. UN 1202 Class 3 placards, no-smoking and no-flame symbols and a grounding cable are part of the standard build.
