At the core of this FAW Jiefang municipal compactor (refuse truck) sits a 12 m3 double-arch fully sealed body with a payload near 8.2 t, welded from 5 mm Q345 manganese steel in a full-penetration arc shape without stiffening ribs, over a reinforced bottom box and filler hopper. Two-way compression works at 1:2 to 1:3 ratios with about 98 kN of force; a plunger packer and scraper finish each loading cycle within 25 s, and rear double-cylinder tipping discharges in under 40 s. Five interchangeable tail loading styles cover a swing-arm flip frame, 240 to 660 L bin lifter, large ground bucket, small triangle bucket and fully sealed cover. A Siemens PLC runs one-button automatic or manual programs through left and right ground control boxes plus cab-side operation, while Yangzhou multi-way valves, dedicated oil pumps and Japan-sourced seals keep the hydraulic circuit dependable. The gearbox PTO eliminates any auxiliary engine. Rear and side sewage tanks of roughly 70 L with quick-release drain stop leachate dripping, a full-perimeter rubber seal band and pneumatic rear cover contain odor, and rear work lights, loading indicators and a travel interlock alarm guard night shifts. Reversing camera, dual-pump set and stainless inner liner are options on the 4X2 chassis.
