The HOWO 4x4 JET A-1 aviation refueling truck is an airport fuel bowser built for fixed-wing and helicopter ground support. The fuel-grade tank holds 5,000-8,000 litres, with internal baffles, a top manhole, bottom loading connection and vapour recovery. A pump delivers fuel through a filter/water separator and a flow meter to a hose reel with an aviation nozzle. Grounding reel, overfill protection and deadman control are part of the dispensing circuit. The HOWO 4x4 chassis uses a turbocharged diesel engine, a six-speed manual gearbox and 9.00R20 tyres, giving traction on apron edges and unpaved access roads. Gross vehicle weight is 10,000-12,000 kg. The cab seats three and offers power steering. Typical operators are airports, charter companies, heliports, fuel distributors and military airfields. Left-hand drive is standard, right-hand drive is optional, and each unit ships with a hose, nozzle, grounding cable, documents and a 30-45 day lead time.

★ An airport-ready HOWO 4x4 JET A-1 refueler with 8,000 L tank, filter/water separator, flow meter and grounding system for aircraft ground support.
▶ The tank is built for JET A-1 with fuel-compatible internal coating, anti-surge baffles, a top manhole and a bottom loading connection. Capacity is 5,000-8,000 litres, confirmed against the chassis axle loads and the required aircraft turnaround volume. A vent and vapour-recovery connection reduce fuel vapour release during loading.
A sight gauge and an electronic level sensor show the fuel quantity. The tank is bonded and grounded to the chassis, and the loading point accepts a standard aviation coupler. An emergency bottom valve closes if the tank is overfilled or the truck is involved in an incident.

Fuel Tank |
||
| Capacity | Volume | 5,000-8,000 L |
| Fuel type | JET A-1 / aviation kerosene | |
| Compartments | Single, with baffles | |
| Material | Fuel-grade steel with internal coating | |
| Manhole | 1 top manhole | |
| Placard | UN 1863, Class 3 | |
| Loading | Bottom loading | Standard aviation coupler |
| Vapour recovery | Vent and recovery connection | |
| Level gauge | Sight gauge and electronic sensor | |
| Overfill | Emergency bottom valve | |
| Bonding | Tank bonded to chassis | |
| Drain | Low-point drain | |
▶ Fuel passes through a filter/water separator that removes particulate matter and free water before reaching the meter. The flow meter displays delivered volume in litres, and a deadman control stops the pump if the operator releases the handle. Overfill protection interrupts delivery when the aircraft tank reaches its limit.
A hose reel carries 20-30 m of aviation fuel hose with a standard nozzle. The grounding reel provides a cable and clamp that must be connected to the aircraft before dispensing begins. The pump delivers about 800-1,200 L/min, so a typical light aircraft or helicopter can be fuelled quickly.

| Pump and filter | Pump | Centrifugal, truck PTO driven |
| Flow | approx. 800-1,200 L/min | |
| Filter | Filter/water separator | |

▶ The HOWO 4x4 chassis uses a turbocharged diesel engine, a six-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. All-wheel drive gives traction on apron edges, grass strips and unpaved service roads. Leaf-spring suspension and 9.00R20 tyres are matched to the gross vehicle weight of 10,000-12,000 kg.
The cab seats three in a single row, with power steering, a car-style dashboard and optional air conditioning. A reverse camera and work lights are recommended for night refuelling. The steel bumper and halogen headlights are easy to repair at remote airfields.

▶ Typical duties include refuelling fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and ground equipment, supplying fuel to remote strips and supporting charter and emergency services. The 4x4 chassis and compact tank make the truck suitable for small and medium airports where a large refueller cannot manoeuvre.
Options include a second hose reel, a elevated platform, an auxiliary engine-driven pump, a fire extinguisher kit, a drip tray and additional grounding points. Left-hand drive is standard and right-hand drive can be ordered. Each unit ships with a hose, nozzle, grounding cable, operating manual, export documents and a 30-45 day lead time.
What fuel can the truck carry?
The truck is configured for JET A-1 aviation kerosene and carries UN 1863 Class 3 placards. The tank, seals and hose are fuel-compatible; other grades such as Jet A can be specified if the seals and filtration are matched.
How is fuel quality protected?
Fuel passes through a filter/water separator before the meter, and the dispensing circuit includes grounding, bonding, overfill protection and a deadman control. The filter element is changed according to the operator's fuel-quality programme.
Why choose a 4x4 refueller?
All-wheel drive gives traction on apron edges, grass strips and unpaved service roads, while the compact 5,000-8,000 L tank suits small and medium airports where a large refueller cannot manoeuvre.
