District collection fleets load this compactor (refuse truck) on a SHACMAN 4X2 diesel chassis with a FAST eight-speed manual, 6,500 ml displacement and a 4,500 mm wheelbase carrying a 7,800 kg payload. The body is a 12 m3 double-arch fully sealed structure in 5 mm Q345 manganese steel, full-penetration welded without stiffening ribs, with a reinforced floor and filler hopper. Two-way compression at a typical 1:2 to 1:3 ratio runs on an 8 t ram, loading in under 25 s and discharging in under 40 s. A rear hopper with plunger packer and scraper accepts 240 or 660 L bins on a 2,000 kg flip lifter. Siemens PLC control offers one-button auto or manual modes via left and right ground boxes plus a cab-side pendant; imported multi-way and balance valves with hydraulic locks guard the circuits. Rear and side sewage tanks with quick drain and a full-perimeter rubber seal band keep the route leak-free, with night work light and travel alarm standard. Household, kitchen and industrial waste rounds are its assignment.
