Dongfeng 4X2 Crew-Cab Forest Fire Truck for Wildland First Attack

Wildland first attack punishes weight and water alike, so this DONGFENG 4x2 crew-cab keeps the package light: 7360 kg gross on a 3308 mm wheelbase selectable, with five seats aboard and 110 km/h response speed. Tankage reads 1,500 L of water plus 200 L of foam, pressed through a front PTO pump feeding three hose reels, with a FOAMFIX proportioner where specified. The roof-mounted remote monitor throws water or foam 40-60 m, supported by a front bumper jet and underbody splashers for self-protection while pushing through fire. Full-aluminum lockers with roll-up shutters organize gear around NFPA-style crew seating, SCBA cylinder racks, a PA loudhailer and radio provisions. Suction lines front and rear with strainer plus a quick-fill coupling let the truck draft from ponds, and brush guards, a winch and a roof light bar add rough-ground protection. A telescopic light mast, generator or hydraulic reel remain options for extended forest and interface incidents.
