Petrol distribution at scale runs on this Dongfeng 8X4 fuel tanker (fuel bowser), whose elliptical spun-head tank carries 22000 L in four compartments of 5083 aluminium alloy, cutting tare to raise payload. CNC automatic submerged-arc welding and leak testing back every vessel, with wave-break baffles per compartment controlling surge. A gearbox PTO drives a self-priming gear pump at 900 L/min feeding two automatic-retract reels of 15 to 20 m with drip-proof nozzles; three-way four-position ball valves, double-way valves, an inline strainer and brass fittings form the piping network. Emergency cut-off sub-sea valves and API-compatible bottom valves support bottom loading, while a breather vacuum valve and anti-overflow probe cover top filling; digital metering is standard with an OSJOH AccuLoad option and an optional tax-controlled dual-nozzle dispenser near 50 L/min. A rear ladder, anti-slip top mesh and folding rails give safe deck access, and extinguishers, an exhaust flame arrester, earth reel and GB flammable placards complete the hazmat kit on a 400 HP, 12JS182TA chassis.
