City distribution with a zero-emission mandate shapes this BYD T5 4x2 stake truck, powered by a pure electric 170 HP drivetrain with a single-speed automatic transmission and depot charging. The energy source is a BYD Blade lithium iron phosphate pack of 100.45 kWh, and the setup stands on a 3360 mm wheelbase. Behind the cab, a 4200x2050x600 mm cargo bed carries eight sets of adjustable steel stakes with an optional tarpaulin arch, over a timber or steel floor rated for forklift traffic. Three-way drop tailgates with locks open loading from rear and both sides, and side plus floor lashing points secure mixed freight. Overnight depot charging restores the Blade pack between split-shift rounds. Quiet operation with no tailpipe rounds, regional general freight, and fleets bound for low-emission zones. With no gearbox to work through in stop-start traffic, the single-speed drive keeps operation simple, and the GB announcement plus 2-year warranty support fleet registration.
