A dual-cab Great Wall 4X4 pickup carries its five-person crew and their gear on one chassis: a 1996 ml diesel of the 2.0T class making 163 HP with selectable, paired to a ZF 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual per the drivetrain line. Wheelbase runs 3230 mm, gross weight 2800 kg, road speed up to 160 km/h on 265/65R17 tires. Electronic shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive with low range backs a 1-ton payload class and 3000 kg of braked towing, so compressors, reels and survey equipment ride in the steel bed, lined or bare, or under a service-body conversion. The options list reads like a field catalogue: canopy, tray swap, winch, snorkel and UHF radio mount, with homologation to the destination market.
