SHACMAN F3000 6x4 18 cbm Rear Loader Compactor Garbage Truck with Bin Lifter

The SHACMAN F3000 6x4 compactor garbage truck pairs an 18 cbm rear-loader body with a hydraulic bin lifter, so a two-man crew can work a municipal route without lifting bins by hand. Waste is tipped into the rear hopper, the packer blade sweeps it into the body and compacts it against the discharge plate, and the cycle repeats until the body is full. The lifter takes wheeled bins from the kerb, tips them over the hopper and returns them empty. Behind the cab, a seven-spool valve block with a pressure gauge gives the operator direct control of the lifter, packer, tailgate and discharge functions. The F3000 cab carries a 340 hp badge, and the 6x4 chassis with a single steering axle and rear tandem carries the loaded body within road axle limits. Side guards, mud flaps, a rear ladder and rear marker lights are fitted for road and site work. Tell us the bin sizes on your route and the daily stop count, and we confirm body volume, lifter type and compaction cycle before quoting.

One Pass, One Bin, One Compacted Load

▶ A rear-loader compactor works to a rhythm: stop, lift, tip, pack, move on. The bin lifter takes the wheeled bin from the kerb, swings it over the hopper and returns it empty while the crew walks to the next address. Waste falls into the hopper, the packer blade sweeps it back into the body, and the hydraulic cycle compacts it against the discharge plate. Because the body is filled from the rear and compacted in stages, an 18 cbm body carries far more than its geometric volume of loose refuse, and the truck stays on route longer between trips to the transfer station.

The hydraulic system is deliberately simple to operate and to service. A seven-spool valve block sits behind the cab on the left side, with a pressure gauge at the block, and each spool controls one function: bin lifter, packer blade, tailgate and discharge. The operator can slow the packer at the hopper mouth when a bulky item is loaded, then run the full cycle once it is inside. Keeping the valve block outside the cab means the operator sees the hopper while working the levers, which is safer on a busy kerb than working blind from the cab.

The chassis is the SHACMAN F3000 6x4, with a single steering axle and a rear tandem, and the cab carries a 340 hp badge. That combination is sized for a loaded 18 cbm body on municipal routes: the tandem keeps axle loads inside road limits, and the F3000 cab is a day cab with the driver's side low enough for frequent kerb work. Side guards, mud flaps, a rear ladder and rear marker lights are fitted as standard road equipment. Bin standard, daily stop count, route gradient and disposal distance are the four numbers that decide the specification, so send them with your enquiry.

Before You Order

  • Confirm the bin standard on your route: 120 L, 240 L, 660 L and 1100 L bins need different lifter arms and different hydraulic pressures. The lifter is built for the bins you actually collect.
  • Give the daily stop count and the disposal distance. They decide whether an 18 cbm body is right or whether a larger body and a transfer routine are more economical.
  • State the route gradient and road surface. A fully compacted body is heavy; the rear axle ratio and the brake specification are set from the worst climb on the route.
  • Ask for the hydraulic schematic and the spool allocation. A crew that knows which lever does what, and where the pressure gauge sits, services the truck faster and damages fewer bins.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much waste does the body hold?

18 cbm nominal. Because the load is compacted in stages, the usable refuse capacity is greater than the geometric volume; the exact figure depends on the waste density on your route and is confirmed on the body drawing.

What does the bin lifter handle?

The hydraulic bar lifter is built for wheeled bins. Tell us the bin standard on your route, and the arms, stops and hydraulic pressure are set for that bin before production.

Where are the hydraulic controls?

A seven-spool valve block with a pressure gauge is mounted behind the cab on the left side, so the operator works the lifter, packer, tailgate and discharge while watching the hopper.

Send your bin standard, daily stop count and disposal distance for a specification and FOB quotation within 24 hours.

✔ Rear loader with bin lifter

The lifter takes wheeled bins from the kerb and returns them empty while the packer cycles.

✔ Seven-spool hydraulic control

Lifter, packer, tailgate and discharge each have a dedicated spool with a pressure gauge at the block.

✔ 18 cbm compacted body

Staged compaction carries more refuse per trip than the geometric volume suggests.

✔ F3000 6x4 chassis

A single steering axle and rear tandem keep the loaded body within road axle limits.
